VOLKSWAGEN

For over 4 years I was Creative Director on the Volkswagen account at Arnold in Boston. Along with my daily CD duties, I over-saw literally miles of "Running Footage" and directed the films that would accompany "concept cars" at the International Auto Show in Detroit every year. It afforded me the opportunity to have some pretty amazing experiences from chasing a dune buggy around in the desert on the Mexican border in a helicopter, to filming in what used to be a German WWII munitions bunker on Christmas Eve to filming in the largest indoor studio in LA - the original home of  Howard Hughes' Spruce Goose. These films were meant to be "Product Demonstration" films on steroids. The only catch was that most of the time, we were filming full-scale models or fiberglass exteriors mounted to skeleton chassis.
